Description
The 3M™ Aura™ Health Care Particulate Respirator and Surgical Mask 1870+ has comfortable inner materials and helps provide respiratory protection against certain airborne particles. The individually packaged flat fold design allows for convenient storage prior to use. Designed to help provide respiratory protection for the wearer, this health care respirator meets CDC guidelines for M. tuberculosis exposure control.
As a disposable particulate respirator, it is intended to reduce wearer exposure to certain airborne particles including those generated by electrocautery, laser surgery, and other powered medical instruments. As a surgical mask, the 3M Aura 1870+ is designed to be fluid-resistant to splash and spatter of blood and other infectious materials.

Use For
- 5 years from the date of manufacture
- Use by date on the box in YYYY-MM-DD format
- Store respirators in the original packaging, away from contaminated areas, dust, sunlight, extreme temperatures, excessive moisture, and damaging chemicals
- Store in temperatures between -20°C (-4°F) and +30°C (+86°F) and not exceeding 80% RH
Time Use Limitation
Respirators may be used until damaged, breathing becomes difficult or contaminated with blood or body fluids. Discard after every use when used for surgical procedures. Follow local jurisdiction and facility infection control guidance and policies.
